Football Recap: Fuqua Takes a Loss

Fuqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 35-13 to Rappahannock County.

Fuqua's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rappahannock County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Fuqua will square off against Broadwater Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rappahannock County, they will take on Brunswick Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 9.8 points per game this season, so Rappahannock County's offense will have their work cut out for them.
