League recap: Tokay extends winning streak with victory over Lodi

Tokay extended the longest winning streak in Tri-City this week by beating Lodi, 35-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Tokay moved up to 339 from 438 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Louis Franklin's team climbed the ranks as a result of a 35-13 win over the Flames.

Stagg's dynamic duo of Wayne Brooks and Lester Williams proved tough for Bear Creek to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brooks threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns and Williams had 196 yards receiving. Andre Lindsey helped Stagg's passing attack out by catching two balls for 41 yards.

Jonathan Stark was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 164 yards on 17 carries as McNair defeated the Bruins. Cedrick Phillips also contributed to the rushing game with 46 yards on the ground.

Stagg's Brooks and Williams have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Tri-City in both passing and receiving yards. Brooks has thrown for 1403 yards this season, while Williams, a 5-foot-5 receiver, has 24 catches for 682 yards. The Eagles' Stark leads the league in rushing yards with 702.

St. Mary's took down Lincoln 51-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
