Volleyball Game Preview: Waterford Wildcats vs. Modesto Christian Crusaders

The Waterford Wildcats will square off against the Modesto Christian Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Modesto Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Waterford, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Waterford got the win against Delhi by a conclusive 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Waterford not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Delhi between 18 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Modesto Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Delhi, falling 3-0.

While Modesto Christian ultimately came up short, they really made Delhi work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 26-24.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Modesto Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Waterford's way against Modesto Christian in their previous matchup on April 1st, as Waterford made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
