ITW David Speer Academy had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They never let the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The Pride's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four games.

Anabel Diaz was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last six matches. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

In other batting news, Anaiyah Costoso was a standout: she scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Robles, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

ITW David Speer Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .893. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Noble Street College Prep only posted an OBP of .100.

ITW David Speer Academy pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Noble Street College Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
