Basketball Recap: Dalton Academy Takes a Loss

Dalton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-31 loss at the hands of the Gordon Central Warriors. If the Pumas were looking for revenge after losing 80-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dalton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Gordon Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

While Dalton Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
