Basketball Recap: Dunmore Takes a Loss

Dunmore has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 55-37 to the Mid Valley Spartans. The contest marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Mid Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaleik Cook out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Pratt, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Dunmore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Mid Valley, they moved to 7-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Dunmore will face off against Holy Cross at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Holy Cross will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Dunmore surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mid Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Honesdale at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
