Softball Recap: Arvin Bears vs. Del Oro Suns

Arvin can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They put the hurt on the Del Oro Suns with a sharp 18-3 victory. The win was familiar territory for Arvin who now have four in a row.

Ava Velazquez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Velazquez has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Velazquez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
