Softball Game Preview: Discovery Warriors vs. Central City Value Jaguars

The Discovery Warriors will square off against the Central City Value Jaguars at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Discovery is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Valley Oaks CES 27-2 on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Vanguards recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Discovery got a massive performance out of Ambert Robert, who scored four runs while going 6-for-6. With that strong performance, Robert is now averaging an impressive 3.2 hits per game. Another player making a difference was Britany Arellano, who scored five runs while going 4-for-6.

Robert wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Discovery kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 25 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Central City Value challenged Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus on Thursday. Central City Value put the hurt on Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus with a sharp 12-2 win.

The victory got Central City Value back to even at 1-1. As for Discovery, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
