McAlester and Carl Albert squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but McAlester had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Titans, falling 55-0. The Buffaloes' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Brody Parker threw for 31 yards on six of ten attempts.

Delijah Matthews produced another solid performance rushing for 66 yards and five touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards for Carl Albert. Those five rushing touchdowns gave Matthews a new career-high. Anderson Collier was another key player, having thrown for 269 yards and two touchdowns.

McAlester's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Carl Albert, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.

McAlester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carl Albert, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-7 win against Newcastle on the 28th.
