O'Farrell Charter can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The game marked the Falcons' most dominant win of the season.

One reason for the win was O'Farrell Charter's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph Academy lost, don't look at Dominic Gale. Despite the final result, he had six digs, five kills, and two blocks. Gale has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played.

O'Farrell Charter's victory bumped their record up to 7-19. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Coincidentally, O'Farrell Charter and St. Joseph Academy will both be playing Escondido Charter the next time they take the court. The Falcons will host the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Crusaders will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
