Soccer Recap: Bay City Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Bay City finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 6-1 to the Sealy Tigers. The loss put an end to the Blackcats' undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Christopher Martinez, who's now up to 20 this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bay City fell to 19-1-6. As for Sealy, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Coming up, Bay City will square off against Fort Bend Willowridge at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bay City is on an eight-game streak of home wins, Fort Bend Willowridge a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. Sealy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
