Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest suffered their biggest defeat since December 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Henry County Patriots 54-23. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 51-50.

Northwest has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Henry County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when Northwest and Northeast meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwest is facing Northeast at the right time seeing as Northeast is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Henry County, they will challenge Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
