Hidden Valley and Scappoose squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hidden Valley had to settle for second. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Scappoose Indians. The match marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Scappoose's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Nowlin led the charge by throwing for 249 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Nowlin has been hot , having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played. Elijah Greenan Biggs was another key back, rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
