Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Western

Western won the last time they faced Loara, and Angela Jasso did her part to make sure it happened again. The Pioneers had just enough and edged out the Saxons 3-2 for which the team can thank Jasso, who had 46 digs and four assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Western wouldn't go down easily and took Loara into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 18-25, 18-25, 15-13.

Western pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Loara, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Looking ahead, Western will host Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loara, they will head out on the road to challenge Saddleback at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
