Volleyball Recap: Marble Falls Beats Jarrell for Their Third Straight Victory

Marble Falls had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jarrell Cougars. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Marble Falls not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Jarrell between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-16.

Marble Falls' win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Jarrell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-27 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marble Falls is set to challenge their familiar foe Burnet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jarrell will face off against rival Salado at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
