Softball Game Preview: Palm Springs Indians vs. Xavier Prep Saints

For the second straight game, Palm Springs will face off against Xavier Prep. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Springs is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Xavier Prep a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.

Palm Springs is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 28-20 margin over Xavier Prep on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

For Xavier Prep's part, Delaney Stutz stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Chaparro, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five runs, and one triple.
