Nevin Pivar posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out five batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Pivar and Chief Sealth will welcome Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
