Pickerington North came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Pickerington Central Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 3rd.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-14.

Gavin Venetta was the offensive standout of the match as he had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last six games.

Venetta wasn't the only good server: Pickerington North was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 16 aces in four consecutive contests.

Pickerington North pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Pickerington Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
