Softball Recap: Limestone Triumphs

Limestone posted their closest victory since May 2, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints, sneaking past 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Limestone now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Looking ahead, Limestone will head out to square off against East Peoria at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, they have already played their next contest, a 7-4 loss against Pekin on the 5th.
