Volleyball Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Somerville Highlanders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Somerville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Medford will venture away from home to face off against Essex Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerville, they will square off against Everett at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
