Baseball Recap: Kosciusko Comes Up Short

Kosciusko came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Germantown Mavericks, falling 10-0. The Whippets haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kosciusko's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Germantown, their record is now 3-1.

Coming up, Kosciusko will head out on the road to challenge Starkville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Germantown, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Biloxi on the 16th.
