Basketball Recap: Youngker's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Youngker on Monday. They took down the Verrado Vipers 48-29. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-34 back in December of 2024.

Ashlee Gonzalez was her usual excellent self, putting up 26 points.

With the win, Youngker broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-10. As for Verrado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Youngker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 77-33 defeat against Canyon View on the 29th. Verrado has also already played their next contest, a 45-26 victory against Desert Edge on the 28th.
