Abbotsford lost to Marathon back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Falcons came out on top against the Red Raiders by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Caylee Clement was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and three aces.

Clement wasn't the only good servers: Abbotsford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matchups.

Abbotsford's record now sits at 14-9. As for Marathon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Abbotsford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Tomahawk on the 25th. As for Marathon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Prentice on the 25th.
