If Lincoln High wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Omaha North, they should've done a better job of containing Jerri'On Williams. The Omaha North Vikings walked away with a 72-64 victory over the Lincoln High Links on Thursday for which the team can thank Williams, who went 10-for-14 on his way to 22 points. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Dontae Mcdowell was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played.

Despite the loss, Lincoln High still got an impressive performance from Brady Nick, who shot 50% from the field en route to 22 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaraye Huguley, who posted nine points.

The win was the third in a row for Omaha North, bringing their record for this year to 10-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Lincoln High, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-13.

Omaha North has already played their next match, a 73-53 defeat against Lincoln Southwest on the 1st. As for Lincoln High, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-53 loss against Millard South on the 1st.
