Recap: Concord Christian Lions vs. Berean Christian
In what's become a running theme this season, the Concord Christian Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Berean Christian at home to the tune of 85-40. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, as Concord Christian did.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concord Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cade Keeton, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Keeton has scored all season. Drew Sloan was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Berean Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dalton Claiborne, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Myers, who scored 12 points.
Concord Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.4 points per game. As for Berean Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.
Concord Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Berean Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
