Baseball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hesperia can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hart Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Hesperia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Fox, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Hesperia's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Hart, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14-1 record this season.

Hesperia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hart, they will square off against Evart on Wednesday.
