Soccer Recap: Bethune-Bowman Takes a Loss

Bethune-Bowman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Baptist Hill Bobcats, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Baptist Hill this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Bethune-Bowman's goal came courtesy of Kevin Morales, who's now up to two this season.

Bethune-Bowman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Baptist Hill, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10-1.

Coincidentally, Bethune-Bowman and Baptist Hill will both be playing Charleston Math & Science the next time they take the pitch. The Mohawks will host the Riptide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
