Soccer Game Preview: Moses Lake vs. East Valley

The Moses Lake Mavericks will challenge the East Valley Red Devils at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Moses Lake is headed out to face East Valley after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Mavericks never let Ellensburg get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. The score was close at halftime, but Moses Lake pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Meanwhile, East Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past West Valley 1-0.

Moses Lake couldn't quite get it done against East Valley when the teams last played back in March of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Mavericks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
