Preview: United Longhorns vs. Keller Central Chargers
Two dominant guards in Jesslynn Jalomo and Malaiyah Foster are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The United Longhorns's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Keller Central Chargers at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th. One thing working in United's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches.
United pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Central. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (58), United still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Keller Central's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by Southlake Carroll 65-27. While losing is never fun, Keller Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while Southlake Carroll is ranked 17th).
United's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Keller Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
