Basketball Game Preview: Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs vs. Pueblo South Colts

Pueblo Centennial hasn't had much luck against Pueblo South recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Pueblo South Colts at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pueblo Centennial came up short against Pueblo County on Monday, falling 56-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered against the Hornets since February 17, 2022.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South fought the good fight in their overtime game against Pueblo East on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Eagles 48-44. The Colts just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Pueblo Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Pueblo Centennial was taken down by Pueblo South 75-37 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Pueblo Centennial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
