Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Faith Christian Academy had to endure a nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Providence Classical Christian Warriors out 20-17.

Faith Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Bree Chamberlin, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for Chamberlin. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Morgan Sapp, who had six points.

Faith Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Providence Classical Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Peachtree Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Providence Classical Christian will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Academe of the Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
