Softball Recap: Piedmont Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Piedmont and Ohatchee squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Piedmont had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 5-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Ohatchee, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11 record this season.

Piedmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ohatchee, they will square off against Glencoe at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
