Basketball Recap: Vision Comes Up Short

After flying high against Horseshoe Bend back in December of 2025, Vision came back down to earth. Vision was outmatched by The Ambrose School Archers and fell 69-39. Vision was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-25.

Aubrie Parrish and Raelynn Nickel certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Parrish dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards, while Nickel posted 12 points and seven steals. Nickel has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 30 times she's played. Abby Porterfield was another key player, putting up eight points.

With the loss, Vision broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for The Ambrose School, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Vision wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 35-29 victory against Rimrock on the 6th. As for The Ambrose School, they have also already played their next contest, a 45-35 win against Nampa Christian on the 5th.
