Volleyball Recap: Skagway Comes Up Short

Skagway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wrangell Wolves. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Skagway's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wrangell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5-1 record this season.

Skagway has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Petersburg on the 17th. As for Wrangell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Haines on the 17th.
