 The Roosevelt Roughriders will head out on the road to  challenge  the Northridge Grizzlies at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Roosevelt will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
 On Tuesday, Roosevelt sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-6  win over Northridge.
  Brady Mylander made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Mylander was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Seppe Salvatore, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, a  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kayden Bryant, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Roosevelt pushed their record up to 10-7 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. As for Northridge,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-11.
