Volleyball Game Preview: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies vs. Cuyama Valley Bears

The San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies will venture away from home to square off against the Cuyama Valley Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Santa Maria and fell 3-2. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cuyama Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Valley Christian Academy, falling 3-0.

While Cuyama Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-21.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Cuyama Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's way against Cuyama Valley when the teams last played back in March, as San Luis Obispo Classical Academy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
