Volleyball Recap: Aurora Christian Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Aurora Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Amboy Clippers. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Clippers, too.

Leading Aurora Christian to victory were Ashlyn Aseltine and Erica Waltmire. Aseltine had 13 digs and two assists, while Waltmire had four digs.

The win (which was Aurora Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 28-4. As for Amboy, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-19-4.

Looking ahead, Aurora Christian will face off against Galena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amboy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
