Dynamic duo of Zayvian Bieger and Nehemiah Jean-Charles lead Miramar to victory

Recap: Miramar Patriots vs. Everglades Gators

There's no place like home for the Miramar Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over Everglades. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Miramar has posted since December 4, 2023.

Miramar was led to victory by Zayvian Bieger and Nehemiah Jean-Charles. Bieger scored 15 points along with six steals and three blocks, while Jean-Charles dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Bieger posted two or more blocks. Jared Williams was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.

Everglades lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Daunte Foster, Jr, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Bailey, Jr, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Miramar's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Everglades, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.

Miramar will look to defend their home court on Friday against Miami Country Day at 1:00 p.m. As for Everglades, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
