Baseball Recap: Window Rock Takes a Loss

The Window Rock Fighting Scouts came up short against the El Capitan Eagles on Friday, falling 10-4. The Fighting Scouts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jarom Owens was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Window Rock's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for El Capitan, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Window Rock will venture away from home to square off against Tuba City at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.67 runs per game on average), something the Fighting Scouts will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for El Capitan, they will be playing at home against Red Mesa at 12:00 p.m. on the 12th.
