Basketball Recap: Corona del Sol Takes a Loss

Corona del Sol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 52-38 fall against the Desert Ridge Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aztecs of the 60-58 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Corona del Sol's record now sits at 0-6. As for Desert Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Corona del Sol will take on Higley in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Desert Ridge, they will be home for the holidays to greet Williams Field at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Williams Field will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Desert Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
