Volleyball Recap: Carly Williams Key Part of Team Effort in Vikings Win + How To Watch

Broadwater Academy won the last time they faced Chincoteague and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ponies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Broadwater Academy took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-7, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Broadwater Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carly Williams, who had eight aces and three blocks. Those eight aces gave Williams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caroline Caison, who had 16 assists and five aces.

Broadwater Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Broadwater Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Portsmouth Christian at 6:30 p.m. As for Chincoteague, they will head out to challenge Greenbrier Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
