Basketball Recap: Pershing Comes Up Short

If Pershing was feeling good fresh off their 87-50 takedown of Osborn last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pershing Doughboys lost to the Cass Tech Technicians on the road by a 57-43 margin on Friday. The Doughboys haven't had much luck with the Technicians recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Pershing's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Cass Tech, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Pershing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cass Tech, they have already played their next game, a 76-59 defeat against Marquette on the 8th.
