Edison strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand the Nathan Hale Rangers a 7-0 shutout. Give Edison's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Edison pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine matchups. As for Nathan Hale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-1.
