Preview: Pulaski County Maroons vs. Somerset Briar Jumpers
After two games on the road, Pulaski County is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Somerset Briar Jumpers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Pulaski County faced Ryle in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pulaski County took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ryle. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pulaski County has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Somerset, who are still winless after their fourth match. They were outmatched by Rockcastle County at home and fell 66-27. While losing is never fun, Somerset can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Rockcastle County is ranked 73rd).
Pulaski County's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Somerset, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
