Basketball Recap: Davis Wins Going Away Against Coalgate

Davis won the last time they faced Coalgate and things went their way on Friday too. The Davis Wolves blew past the Coalgate Wildcats 50-28. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Wildcats are ranked 421st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Davis' win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Coalgate, their loss was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Davis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-23 victory against Dibble on the 18th. As for Coalgate, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-49 defeat against Tishomingo on the 18th.
