Hesperia extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Dylanna Akwaboah. The Scorpions put the hurt on the Apple Valley Sun Devils with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday thanks in part to Akwaboah, who had 29 assists and seven digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 29 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Hesperia was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-18.

Hesperia's record is now 24-1. As for Apple Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hesperia is set to take on their familiar foe Oak Hills at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Apple Valley will square off against rival Burroughs at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
