Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

Cambridge lost against Lake Mills back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bluejays fell just short of the L-Cats by a score of 2-1.

Jill Thompson paced Cambridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Thompson got some help from Cally Travis and her 14 assists. Travis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Debra Bruce was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 19 assists and five digs. Bruce is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lake Mills, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Cambridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rhinelander on the 30th. As for Lake Mills, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Goodman-Pembine on the 29th.
