Basketball Game Preview: Lake County Panthers vs. Bennett Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lake County played against Jefferson and won via forfeit.

Bennett is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 93-44 win over Platte Canyon. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Lake County better keep an eye on Jayden Ivory. He was instrumental in Bennett's win, going 6 of 8 on his way to 25 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. The dominant performance also gave Ivory a new career-high in steals (five). Austin Stiers was another key player, going 6 for 15 en route to 16 points along with six assists and three steals.

Bennett's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for Lake County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.
