Baseball Recap: Palmer Moose vs. West Anchorage Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eagle River, Palmer was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the West Anchorage Eagles. The Moose haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Palmer let Reed Craner and Jacob Rockey run wild. Craner went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Rockey went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI. Craner has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Zander Landon also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Palmer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Anchorage only posted an OBP of .367.
The victory got Palmer back to even at 2-2. As for West Anchorage, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Coming up, Palmer will head out on the road to challenge Colony at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Moose are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West Anchorage, they will host Service at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
