Basketball Recap: Solon Takes a Loss

Solon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 55-38 to the Wadsworth Grizzlies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-65 back in December of 2024.

Solon's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Wadsworth, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solon will venture away from home to square off against Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hudson will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Solon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wadsworth, they and North Royalton will meet on Wednesday for a tough Bear Battle. Wadsworth is facing North Royalton at the right time seeing as North Royalton is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
